Typing Through the Tears

Sat holding my mum’s hand on the 29^th March 2018, Maundy Thursday, I kept reminding her that dad has always told us that he had enjoyed a good life and the past eight years, in his own words had been “a bonus”. “We’ve enjoyed many suppers with dad; if the Lord is calling him to his Last Supper tonight then he will be ready and we will have to accept His will”. The events of the last few months I never saw coming.
